Pushdown

Getting your wisdom teeth removed is a huge pain in the ass. You can't eat any good foods, your face is swollen for two days, your mouth hurts for two weeks, and you have to be drugged up in order to endure the pain. Thankfully, there's a silver lining, with all of those drugs you'll be taking, ideas will start flowing out of you like a fountain, maybe.

And so, with a diet of painkillers and soup, I spent a week composing drugged up ambient music. And with my newfound utilization of tape loops, I could make far more interesting soundscapes than before.

Just like that, I had created my first ever album. And when I uploaded the album to YouTube, something amazing happened. It got 200 views!!! I felt like the queen of the world for two days straight, knowing that my music had found an audience. Honestly, I would've been ecstatic if it got any views at all, but my expectations were surpassed in the best way possible.

Onto the music, it's raw as all hell. There's little to no progression and hardly any real melody, but, and I speak from experience, I think I captured the post-anesthesia high I had to a T. It's drowsy and cloudy, it's repetitive (hell I reused the same song like, three times), and it's exactly how I felt watching TNA Wrestling while attempting to eat scrambled eggs.
